Clothing Repair Day!
I was not ready to throw in the towel with these shirts, so I ordered some fabric glue and prepared to repair the designs. Thankfully I didn't lose any of the HTV pieces, so all I had to do was re-attach the flaps that were peeling.
Ewok Upgrades!
The beautiful thing about my projects is that I get to decided when they're "complete." Sometimes I let a project be a forever work in progress that I can continue to add on to! This is one of those projects <3
The Makings of an X-Men Dark Phoenix Performance
I latched on to Jean Grey from the X-Men series right away. She was smart, very powerful, and kind. When the 3rd movie came out, I was entranced by her transformation. I made the Phoenix cosplay not too long after my dad and I saw the movie together, and wore it to multiple comic cons in Michigan and Minnesota. It's one of my favorite cosplays I have made.
Crafting Burnout: Kicking and screaming my way through it.
After recognizing the signs of burnout in myself I made myself pack away the unfinished cosplays, set aside the projects I was stressing over, and took a break from crafting. You know, the thing I’m trying to build a business doing. It sucked, and I didn’t want to do it.
