A WIP 2025 #11: Mar 20 - Mar 26
This week was VERY productive on the crafting front! I was reminded that sometimes just taking time to think through a problem is still part of being "productive" even if I'm not actively sewing something.
A WIP 2025 #10: Mar 13 - Mar 19
The problem with having other hobbies besides crafting is that once I remember I enjoy them… they take away from my crafting time! Such is life I suppose.
A WIP 2025 #9: Mar 6 - Mar 12
Sometimes a project takes more time than expected and sometimes it takes exactly as much time as you expected. But I have found that very rarely does it take less time than expected.
A WIP 2025 #8: Feb 28 - Mar 5
Did I mash most of my crafting into one day? Maybe…BUT it got done and I'm quite happy with what I was able to do in a day <3
A WIP 2025 #7: Feb 20 - Feb 27
but then I realized… it's hard to craft in the middle of a multi-week office re-org project! SO in the spirit of the self-care theme I have going for this month, I am going to congratulate myself for not only doing the re-org but ALSO getting in a little crafting this week <3
A WIP 2025 #6: Feb 14- Feb 19
However, my basement office is too cold for me to enjoy being down there. I did manage to brave the chill to get a few things done this week!
A WIP 2025 #5: Jan 30-Feb 13
If you have followed my posts on Instagram then you'll know that I have been writing about how self-care is an important part of being environmentally friendly. However, I think this could apply to any form of activism.
A Week In Progress 2025 #4: Jan 23-29
I am stubbornly continuing with all of my projects this week, including starting my first big cosplay project of the year! It might be happening in fits and starts, but I am making time for crafting. I hope you are, too. Finding moments of joy and rest are so important right now.
A Week in Progress Jan 16-22
However, I think the underlying idea of this blog is very important for the coming years. Progress happens in incremental steps that take time. Slowing down, resting, being with our communities, and resting some more are acts of resistance.
A Week in Progress: Jan 8 to 15
Is this the longest first two weeks of January for anyone else? Being on the internet is tough right now so let this week's blog be a pallet cleanser for you.
A Week in Progress Jan 1 - Jan 7
*Tap Tap Tap* Is this thing on?
Oh hi. Let's get this started again shall we? Welcome to my WIP blog. I like to share what I'm working on here, but also tend to go on tangents about life, my pets, and what books I'm reading.
A Week in Progress 6/25-7/3
I am clinging to productivity by the skin on my teeth this week. It has not been easy to keep focused but I am doing my best!
A Week in Progress: The ides of March - 6/26/24
Oh wow. I really fell off the wagon this month, BUT I have a good excuse.
A Week in Progress 4/25/24-5/2/24
It took me a full week after getting back from Chicago to even post this. This is less of a crafting post and more of a "What Happened at C2E2 post." Because wow did a lot happen at C2E2 and I'm still trying to process it all!
A Week in Progress 4/15/2024 - 4/24/2024
I'm sure I will at some point get this blog on a proper weekly upload schedule. But it will not be the week of a con while I am doing my least favorite thing… Con Crunching
A Week in Progress 4/1/2024- 4/14/2024
Let's try something fun with this blog.
Because most of my projects are large projects that take many weeks to complete, I thought it might be fun to take you all with me as I craft.
